How to take Screenshot (using Screenshot Captor)

There are a lot of software for screenshot and screen capture. In each version of windows, there are also built-in tools which are easy to use but lack of advanced features. Below guide explains how to install and use “Screenshot Captor”. It is a light and very easy to use tool.

 

STEP1

 

Open Google

Open browser (Chrome, Mozila etc) and type Google.com in URL Bar

Search Screenshot Captor Setup Download

Search for “Screenshot Captor Setup Download” in Google.com and press Enter. In the search results, select “https://screenshot-captor.en.softonic.com › … › Utilities & Tools › Screen Capture

Download Screenshot Captor Setup

On Screenshot Captor’s website, download the setup file of Screen Captor, click on “Free Download”.

Save Setup File 

New popup will appear, click on “Save File” to save file on computer.

Launch the Screenshot Captor Setup

Now go to “Downloads” folder which is on top left side of windows explorer screen. Here we’ll see Setup file of “Screenshot Captor”. Launch it by double -click or right-click and select open.

Run Setup file

Click on “Run” for next step of installation:

Click on “Next” & follow the prompts:

Follow the prompts & wait for installation to finish

Complete and Close the Installation Setup

Tick the “Run Screenshot Captor Now…”. Click on “Finish”.

After installation is complete, we can the see Icon on Desktop:

Launch Screenshot Captor & configure it

Launch the Screenshot Captor program and go to preferences to configure program as per our requirements. Move the cursor to menu bar and click on “Edit” and then select “Preference”.

In the preferences, we have a lot of options to customize it. After completion of configuration, click on “Apply” and then click on “Accept” to close preference page. 

Our Screenshot Captor is ready to use now. We can start taking the Screenshots now using the PrintScreen button on our keyboard.
