Windows 10 has a feature of automatic updates. Generally, there is a rule to operate Microsoft to have an updated system. People are terrible at updating their operating systems. That’s probably the main reason Microsoft introduced Windows 10 with automatic updating system. This feature is pretty convenient but many users want their updates on specific Microsoft’s schedule.
If you are running a professional version of Windows 10, you can disable the automatic updates.

Another method is to use a metered internet connection. For this user need to use networks which are metered by default, users can also meter their Wi-Fi network by following simple steps by going into:
Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Advanced Options and users can turning Set Metered Connection on.
Users can download updates on metered internet connections. They do it manually by following simple steps. Settings > Windows Updates > Download

These were the four methods which I found till now. Stopping the Auto updates is not so easy as it used to be in Windows7 or earlier versions.

Yes, you have to download an ISO file and upgrade each computer offline. You don’t need to be on the internet for all the computers.
When is Windows11 expected now? Because this Windows10 doesn’t seem to be a good thing.
Win10 is the last major release of Windows. There is no expectation of names like Windows11 or so. However, there will still be revisions of Windows 10 called Feature Updates.

There was never a Windows9 version. MS skipped this number and went directly to Windows10 instead. Company decided to choose 10 because they believed this release is a ‘Perfect 10’ and to also signify this is the last major release of Windows.
